UFC Fight Night 27 medical suspensions: McGee and Andrews out indefinitely

martin-kampmann-23.jpgAlthough the Indiana Gaming Commission’s athletic division doesn’t release disclosed fighter paydays, it has confirmed the medical suspensions for Wednesday’s UFC Fight Night 27 event.

And two winning fighters – Court McGee and Dylan Andrews – have been suspended indefinitely.

MMAjunkie.com (www.mmajunkie.com) today obtained the list of medical suspensions from the IGC.

UFC Fight Night 27 took place at Indianapolis’ Bankers Life Fieldhouse. The main card, including Carlos Condit‘s fourth-round win over Martin Kampmann in the headliner, aired on FOX Sports 1 following prelims on FOX Sports 2 and Facebook.

McGee earned a split-decision victory over fellow welterweight Robert Whittaker, and Andrews knocked out middleweight Papy Abedi in the third round. The nature of their injuries weren’t disclosed, though a physician can ultimately clear them to return to competition once healed.

Other UFC Fight Night 27 medical suspensions included:

  • Martin Kampmann: Suspended 30 days with no contact during training for 14 days
  • Papy Abedi: Suspended 60 days with no contact during training for 30 days
  • Justin Edwards: Suspended 30 days with no contact during training for 30 days
  • Hatsu Hioki: Suspended 14 days with no contact during training for 14 days
