UFC Fight Night 17 weigh-in results

Tampa, Florida — FiveOuncesOfPain.com was on location at the Marshall Student Center on the campus of the University of South Florida in Tampa, Fla. for official weigh-ins of “UFC Fight Night 17: Lauzon vs. Stephens.”

The USF’s Sun Dome served as the venue for Saturday’s UFN 17 event, which will be televised on Spike TV starting at 9 p.m. ET.

The scheduled televised main event will pit Iowa native Jeremy Stephens against The Ultimate Fighter season five alum Joe Lauzon in a lightweight encounter.

• Lightweight: Joe Lauzon (156) vs. Jeremy Stephens (156)
• Heavyweight: Denis Stojnic (246) vs. Cain Velasquez (239)
• Lightweight: Mac Danzig (154.5) vs. *Josh Neer (156.5)
• Welterweight: Luigi Fioravanti (171) vs. Anthony Johnson (171)

PRELIMINARY CARD:

• Lightweight: Kurt Pellegrino (155) vs. Rob Emerson (153.5)
• Middleweight: Jake Rosholt (185.5) vs. Dan Miller (186)
• Lightweight: Matt Grice (156) vs. Matt Veach (156)
• Lightweight: *Rich Clementi (156.5) vs. Gleison Tibau (155.5)
• Middleweight: Nick Catone (184) vs. Derek Downey (185.5)
• Welterweight: Matthew Riddle (171) vs. Steve Bruno (171)

Clementi and Neer still needed to lose half a pound following their first weigh-in attempts. According to UFC.com, both made weight on their second attempt.
