Round 1: They immediately start trading kicks, but Edwards starts to edge ahead with a solid punch combination and a couple stinging low kicks. Medeiros starts to work to the inside, but Edwards is still getting the better of the exchanges with his punches, and then lands a hard kick to Medeiros’ left rib cage. Medeiros keeps coming, but Edwards keeps rocking him with punches. Edwards slips to a knee, but is right back up and picks up where he left off, landing the right hand, but just as Edwards appears to be building momentum Medeiros lands a left uppercut across Edwards’ chin, sending him to the canvas. Medeiros follows him down and finishes him off with a couple more well-placed left hands.
