Baczynski again takes advantage of the restart, scooping Magny up and slamming him to the mat, landing in Magny’s full guard. Round 2: Baczynski come out swinging, but doesn’t land the big shot he’s looking for. Magny shoots, but Baczynski stuffs it and ties him up on the fence, as they wrestle for position. The referee again restarts them in the center of the Octagon. Baczynski lands a big right hand, but Magny defends Baczynski’s takedown attempt, and again clinches on the fence. They continue fighting for position and get separated again. Baczynski shoots, but Magny defends, sprawling down to the mat. They stand up in the clinch, separate, and Magny lands the right hand, as Baczynski looks to be slowing down. Round 3: Magny comes out firing with punches, but Baczynski clinches and fires off a few knees to the body. Magny answers with a knee of his own, but Baczynski is controlling the clinch, keeping Magny backed up to the fence. They separate and Baczynski shoots, but Magny defends, and they again end up in the clinch, working position. The referee separates them again, midway through the round. Baczynski lands a big right hand and then scoops Magny up and plants him on the canvas. Baczynski tries to get his ground and pound going, but Magny is defending well from his back, maintaining wrist control until he regains his feet. Baczynski presses him into the fence, landing a knee to the body before Magny takes Baczynski to the canvas. Baczynski gets up, but Magny picks him up and slams him down. Baczynski gets up, but Magny lights him up with flurry of punches. Baczynski shoots, but Magny defends. They separate and Magny gets the better of the exchange in the final seconds of the fight.
