Ultimate Fighting Championship officials Tuesday announced a trio of new cards forthcoming in 2013.

UFC on Fuel TV 7 takes place Feb. 16 at a to-be-announced location, while UFC 157 goes down the following Saturday at the Honda Center in Anaheim, Calif. UFC on Fuel TV 8 follows on March 3 at the Saitama Super Arena in Saitama, Japan.

As UFC on Fuel TV 8 takes place on a Sunday, that event will air on March 2 in the United States due to the time difference. The bookings were announced during Tuesday’s most recent episode of “UFC Tonight” on Fuel TV. No bouts were revealed for any of the upcoming events.

The UFC has visited Anaheim five times, debuting in the city in 2006 with UFC 59. The promotion last hosted an event at the Honda Center just over one year ago, when Junior dos Santos snatched the heavyweight title from Cain Velasquez at UFC on Fox 1.

The Las Vegas-based promotion ended an 11-year drought when it returned to the Land of the Rising Sun in February with UFC 144, which marked the organization’s inaugural trip to Japan under Zuffa ownership. The show was headlined by a lightweight title tilt between Benson Henderson and Frankie Edgar, with “Smooth” snatching a unanimous decision over the New Jersey native to become the promotion’s new 155-pound champion.
