UFC 205: Joanna Jedrzejczyk vs. Karolina Kowalkiewicz video highlights

Joanna Jedrzejczyk had to survive a scare and pull out all the tricks in her arsenal to remain undefeated and retain her strawweight title against Karolina Kowalkiewicz.

The women’s strawweight title bout was part of the main card of the UFC 205 event at Madison Square Garden in New York. It aired on pay-per-view following prelims on FS1 and UFC Fight Pass.

Jedrzejczyk (13-0 MMA, 7-0 UFC) made things hard on Kowalkiewicz (10-1 MMA, 3-1 UFC) in the early going of the matchup. However, Kowalkiewicz stunned the champ with a heavy punch in the fourth round and came on strong down the stretch.

Jedrzejczyk hung though throughout the onslaught and fired back, amping up the action in the final two rounds and bringing the crowd to their feet.

In the end, Jedrzejczyk took the fight by scores of 49-46 across the board to retain her title.
