The Ultimate Fighting Championship returned to Atlanta on Saturday for the first time since Jon Jones defeated Rashad Evans at UFC 145 more than four years ago.
UFC 201: Lawler vs. Woodley drew 10,240 to Philips Arena for a live gate of $1.07 million, according to Public Relations Vice President Dave Sholler.

The Atlanta crowd witnessed a change in the UFC guard yet again, as Tyron Woodley stopped Robbie Lawler in the first round of their UFC 201 main event. Also, Karolina Kowalkiewicz edged out a split decision in a tough co-main event against Rose Namajunas.
UFC 201 was the company’s first event in Atlanta since UFC 145, an event that saw then-champ Jones defend his title against former friend and teammate Evans. That event drew a 15,545 spectators.
