On Episode 1 of UFC 189 Embedded, the sport’s biggest stars converge in New York City, including featherweight contender Conor McGregor, welterweight champion Robbie Lawler and his opponent Rory MacDonald. After two days of UFC Fight Kit photo shoots, the sport’s champions, executives and media turn out for a massive Reebok launch.
And there’s more big news brewing, as featherweight champion Jose Aldo announces that he’ll be unable to fight at UFC 189 – forcing McGregor to quickly shift gears for a new opponent, Chad Mendes. In Sacramento, California, Mendes charges head-first into training for the just-announced title fight.
