Weigh-ins for next week’s UFC 181 event take place Friday, Dec. 5, at Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas.
The same venue hosts the following night’s event, which features a pair of title fights as welterweight champion Johny Hendricks defends his belt for the first time in a rematch with Robbie Lawler, and Anthony Pettis puts his lightweight title up for the first time against Gilbert Melendez.
Along with the official weigh-in event, UFC bantamweight champion T.J. Dillashaw will host a Q&A session for members of the UFC Fight Club.
Doors for the festivities open at 1 p.m. PT local time for Fight Club members. Dillashaw will take the stage for his Q&A at 2 p.m. PT.
The public also is invited to the weigh-in ceremony. The first fighter steps on the scale at 4 p.m. PT local time, and doors open to the public at 3 p.m. Also part of the event is an EA Sports UFC gameplay with UFC Hall of Famers Chuck Liddell and Matt Hughes.
As usual, MMAjunkie will be on scene with complete UFC 181 coverage. We’ll also provide a live stream of the fighter weigh-ins.
