Weigh-ins for next week’s “UFC 171: Hendricks vs. Lawler” event take place Friday, March 14 at The Gilley’s Jack Daniel’s Saloon in Dallas.
The nearby American Airlines Center hosts the following night’s pay-per-view event, which features sluggers Johny Hendricks and Robbie Lawler competing for the UFC’s currently vacant welterweight title.
Additionally, the co-feature also sees two top-ranked welterweights meet as Carlos Condit faces Tyron Woodley.
Along with the official weigh-in event, UFC lightweight champion Anthony Pettis will host a Q&A session for UFC Fight Club members prior to the scale proceedings.
Doors to the festivities open to members of the UFC Fight Club, the promotion’s official fan club, at 1 p.m. CT local time. Pettis takes the stage for the Q&A at 2 p.m. CT.
The public is also invited to the weigh-in ceremony. Doors open to the public at 3 p.m. CT, and the first fighter steps on the scale at 4 p.m. CT.
As usual, MMAjunkie will be on scene with complete UFC 171 coverage. We’ll also provide a live stream of the fighter weigh-ins.
