Round 1: They touch gloves and the main event is underway.  Barão takes the center of the cage.  Faber lands an inside leg kick.  He misses with a right hand.  Barão delivers a leg kick.  Faber catches it and counters with a right hand.  Faber rushes forward.  They both throw kicks to the body and Faber slips.  Barão jumps on him and lands a right hand.  Faber gets to his feet and misses with a spinning back fist.  Faber moves in with a right hand.  Barão lands a right hand on the inside.  Barão delivers an outside leg kick.  He leaps in with a right hand that drops Faber.  Faber covers and gets to his feet.  Barão lands a left hand followed by a right.  Faber is hurt.  He clinches.  Faber circles away.  Barão lands a right hand.  He lands a jab and an overhand right hand knocks Faber down.  Faber covers.  Barão unleashes hammer fists.  Faber was covering up but referee Herb Dean stops the fight.

The official time of the technical knockout was 3:42 of the first round.
