Benson Henderson vs. Anthony Pettis

Round 1: Henderson moving forward early.  The closes the distance and works for a single leg takedown.  He peppers Pettis’ legs with little kicks.  Pettis defends the takedown attempt and separates.  Henderson moves in with a left hand and works to get the fight to the ground.  He lands and uppercut as they separate.  Henderson lands an outside leg kick and clinches.  He lands front kicks to the lower leg of Pettis.  Henderson presses Pettis against the cage.  Pettis acts like he checks his watch and pushes Henderson away.  Pettis steps in and lands a hard kick to the body followed by another and another.  Henderson circles away.  Pettis tried a cartwheel kick and ends up on the bottom.  He isolates an arm and goes for an arm bar.  Henderson verbally taps out.  Anthony Pettis is the new UFC lightweight champion.
