John Lineker vs. Jose Maria Tome

Round 1: Lineker takes the center of the stage.  Maria switching stances as he circles on the outside.  Maria lands an outside leg kick but Lineker answers with a right hand.  Lineker is stalking Maria.  They clinch and exchange hooks to the body.  Lineker lands a hard right hand counter.  Maria looks for a takedown but Lineker shakes it off.  Maria lands a spinning back fist.  Lineker is hurt.  He gets hit with a right hand.  He eats another right hand that staggers him.  Maria delivers a left hook.  Lineker throws a high kick and Maria takes him down.  Lineker gets back to his feet and has Maria’s back standing.  He drags Maria to the ground, but Maria quickly gets to his feet.  Maria delivers a knee to the groin.  The fight is restarted after Lineker was given time to recover.  Lineker is pressing forward.  Maria drops down for a takedown but Lineker defends the attempt.  Lineker inches forward.  He lands a combination in the closing seconds.  MMAWeekly scores the round 10-9 for Maria.

Round 2: Lineker pressing the action.  They clinch and exchange punches to the body.  Maria woks for a takedown but Lineker stuffs it.  Maria falls and Lineker lands a series of left hands and the referee stops the fight.  Maria may have injured himself throwing a kick.
