Cub Swanson vs. Dennis Siver

Round 1: They touch gloves and the UFC 162 main card is  underway.  They exchange leg kicks early.  Siver glances a left hand off of Swanson’s head.  Swanson closes the distance and Siver lands a combination.  Swanson steps in with a right hand. Swanson throws a high kick and gets taken down.  Siver works in Swanson’s half guard.  Siver moves to side control and delivers a knee to the body.  He lands short left hands.  Siver delivers short elbows to the body of Swanson.  Siver advances to the mount but Swanson quickly gets back to half guard.  Swanson applies a guillotine choke and uses it to stand.  They’re back at distance.  Siver lands a kick to the body.  Swanson answers with a kick to the leg followed by one to the body.  MMAWeekly scores the round 10-9 for Siver.

Round 2: Swanson takes the center of the cage.  Swanson misses with a right hand.  Siver partially lands a counter left hand.  Swanson delivers an outside leg kick.  Swanson lands a powerful kick to the body.  Siver looks for a single leg takedown but Swanson shakes if off.  Swanson attempts a cartwheel kick that misses.  He lands a right hand.  Siver lands a couple of inside leg kicks.  Swanson steps in and lands an overhand right.  Swanson goes to the body with a right hand.  Swanson presses forward and delivers a hard kick to the body.  Swanson times an uppercut as Siver moved forward.  He hip tosses Siver and lands in side control.  He advances to the mount position.  Swanson checks the clock.  Swanson postures up.  Siver tries to reverse.  Swanson applies an oma plata.  Siver gets free and has top position.  The round ends.  MMAWeekly scores the round 10-9 for Swanson.

Round 3: Siver lands a left hook on an early break.   Swanson lands a right hand followed by a kick to the body.  Siver delivers an inside leg kick.  Siver misses with a spinning back fist.  Swanson lands to the body.  Siver has slowed.  Swanson lands a hard right hand.  He lands another.  He delivers a combination that knocks Siver down.  Swanson jumps on him with a flurry of punches.  The referee steps in to stop the fight.
