mts-centre.jpgWINNIPEG – Saturday’s UFC 161 event drew an announced attendance of 14,754 and a live gate of $3.15 million.

UFC President Dana White announced the figures at the night’s post-event news conference, which MMAjunkie.com (www.mmajunkie.com) attended. White also said the gate was a venue record,. blowing away the old mark of $1.8 million.

UFC 161 took place at MTS Centre in Winnipeg, a Canadian city that hosted its first UFC event. In the pay-per-view headliner, Rashad Evans defeated Dan Henderson in razor-thin, split-decision .

The all-time list of attendance figures in UFC-Canada history includes*:
