UFC 158 St-Pierre vs. Diaz Weigh-in Results: Dana White Separates Georges St-Pierre and Nick Diaz

UFC 158 weigh-insUFC 158: St-Pierre vs. Diaz is set to take place Saturday at the Bell Centre in Montreal.

The verbal warfare swirling around the main event grudge match between UFC welterweight champion Georges St-Pierre and challenger Nick Diaz has reached a fever pitch in the weeks and days leading up to the fight.

UFC officials stacked the card with top welterweights as an insurance policy in case something happened to blow the main event apart, but it never came to that, at least not as of weigh-ins.

Neither fighter had trouble making weight.

Diaz stepped on the scale at 169 pounds, while the champion, St-Pierre, hit the mark dead-on at 170 pounds.

The two didn’t have much of the usual faceoff for photographers, as they went straight at each other with UFC president Dana White immediately stepping in and keeping them apart.

That was the end of it, however, as each fighter backed off.

“I’m gonna get out there and fight. We’re gonna see what’s gonna happen,” is all Diaz had to say about his opponent.

St-Pierre took a similar stance, declining to say anything specific about Diaz.

“I can talk as much as I want,” he said to Joe Rogan. “But tomorrow, I’m gonna walk the walk.”

None of the UFC 158 fighters had much issue making weight.
