UFC 155: Dos Santos vs. Velasquez Line-Up Finalized; Lauzon vs. Miller Set as Co-Main Event

UFC 155 posterThe final line-up for UFC 155: Dos Santos vs. Velasquez is now set with Joe Lauzon and Jim Miller slotted in as the co-main event for the card.

The last UFC show of 2012 has undergone quite a few changes over the last month with former light heavyweight champion Forrest Griffin suffering an injury and cancelling his fight with Phil Davis, while Chris Weidman’s shoulder surgery put him out of his scheduled bout against Tim Boetsch.

The changes have resulted in a boost to the co-main event slot for lightweights Joe Lauzon and Jim Miller who battle it out in what is expected to be a high paced 155lb contest.

Despite Weidman’s injury, Tim Boetsch remains on the card and now faces Costa Philippou instead. Also the newly rescheduled bout between Melvin Guillard and Jamie Varner occupies a space on the UFC 155 FX prelims after their bout had to be cancelled at the TUF 16 finale show when Varner came down ill just hours before the fight.
