Four men walked away from the UFC’s final event of 2012 with an extra $65,000, as Jim Miller, Joe Lauzon, Todd Duffee and John Moraga each pocketed post-fight bonuses at UFC 155.

Miller and Lauzon shared “Fight of the Night” for their bloody lightweight battle, while Duffee and Moraga earned “Knockout of the Night” and “Submission of the Night” honors for their respective finishes of Philip De Fries and Chris Cariaso.

Saturday night’s event took place at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas and was highlighted by a masterful performance by Cain Velasquez in the main event. The American Kickboxing Academy standout dominated Junior dos Santos to close the pay-per-view broadcast, taking a one-sided unanimous decision to recapture the UFC heavyweight title.

Miller and Lauzon also impressed in the co-headliner, with Miller badly lacerating the Massachusetts native with a series of standing elbow strikes in round one. Though Miller would consistently get the better of “J-Lau” throughout the violent three-round affair, Lauzon proved game, even threatening to finish the bout with a leglock after scoring a beautiful scissor takedown in the waning seconds of round three.

Duffee’s return to the Octagon was a dominant one, as the agile heavyweight quickly disposed of British grappler De Fries, taking his foe out in just 2:04. Duffee, 27, put De Fries on his heels in the bout’s opening moments with a series of hard rights and did not hesitate in his pursuit of the finish, sealing the deal with a final heavy uppercut that forced referee Yves Lavigne to step in and halt the bout.

Moraga earned his second consecutive Octagon win in his competitive bout with the highly-regarded Cariaso, battling tit-for-tat with his outsized foe for more than 10 minutes before locking up a crushing power guillotine that forced “Kamikaze” to tap out just 71 seconds into the final frame.

Neither Donald Cerrone nor Jim Miller has ever headlined a UFC pay-per-view.
Neither guy has ever been champion (or even fought for UFC gold).
Both are eternally kicking around the bottom half of the lightweight Top 10, and though they each come into Wednesday's UFC Fight Night 45 main event riding a modest win streak, they've lost their most recent bouts against top-flight competition. Still, this fight, man. This fight.

UFC lightweight Donald Cerrone's 2014 could not be going significantly better. He's fought three times in the year so far, winning all three by stoppage. If you count his second-round win over Jim Miller in the main event of UFC Fight Night 45 (UFC Fight Night: Cerrone vs. Miller), two of those three stoppage wins came by way of head kick knockout.
The victory was enough for Cerrone to earn $50,000 in a Performance of the Night bonus, which was announced by UFC President Dana White on Twitter: T more

Wednesday night, Jim Miller stepped into the UFC Octagon opposite fellow lightweight contender Donald Cerrone. However, things did not go the way of Miller in this bout, as he succumbed to a second-round head-kick knockout loss in Atlantic City, New Jersey.
The loss for Miller knocks him out of contention for the time being. He is tough as nails and well-rounded as they come, but he has failed to break through to a title consideration with a performance against a fellow top lightweight.
