DENVER - Dennis Bermudez probably would prefer not needing a knee to the face to get rolling, but it worked Saturday.
Bermudez survived a big knee from Tommy Hayden and battled back to stop the Ohio native with a standing guillotine choke in the first round.
The featherweight bout closed out the preliminary card of Saturday's UFC 150 event at Pepsi Center in Denver. It aired on FX prior to a main card on pay-per-view and following one fight on Facebook.
