Cain Velasquez vs. Antonio “Bigfoot” Silva

Round 1:  Velasquez immediately gets the fight to the ground.  He caught a kick and took Silva to the canvas.  Velasquez lands punches.  Silva works to tie him up.  Velasquez works in half guard.  Silva is cut by an elbow.  Velasquez lands several left hands and another elbow.  Silva is bleeding pretty bad.  Velasquez lands a powerful elbow.  Silva briefly tried to isolate a leg.  Velasquez gets free.  They call in the doctor to check Silva’s cut.  The doctor says he’s okay to continue.  The fight is restarted on the ground.  Velasquez lands a series of punches.  Silva is having trouble seeing from all the blood.  Silva rolls and gives up his back.  Velasquez lands more shots.  Finally, the referee steps in and stops the massacre. Velasquez wins by TKO.

The official time of the TKO came at the 3:36 mark of the first round.
