The Ultimate Fighting Championship on Monday announced a bantamweight addition to the quickly growing fight card for UFC 135 on Sept. 24 in Denver.

Norifumi “Kid” Yamamoto, who was a scratch on this past weekend’s UFC 131 fight card in Vancouver, returns to face Damacio Page when the UFC hits the Mile High City.

Yamamoto (18-4) lost his UFC debut against Demetrious Johnson in February, so he’ll be looking to knock that chip off his shoulder. He faces a tough, aggressive, and likely desperate, fighter on Sept. 24.

Page (15-6) lost his UFC debut as well, to Brian Bowles at UFC on Versus 3 in March. That was his second consecutive loss, so he may be fighting for his spot on a very crowded roster, despite his fan-pleasing style.

“These are two of the most aggressive sluggers in the always-exciting bantamweight division,” said UFC president Dana White in announcing the fight.

UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones, pending clearing for his injured hand, is expected to headline the UFC 135 fight card against Quinton “Rampage” Jackson.
