Vitor Belfort is on the comeback trail from a loss to UFC middleweight kingpin Anderson Silva. But it’s not like he hasn’t been down the comeback trail before, and, according to him, odds are that the trail will continue.
Amazingly, at 34 years of age, Belfort has been fighting professionally for the better part of 15 years. The way he talks during the lead-up to his UFC 133 fight with Yoshihiro Akiyama on Saturday night, he’s far from considering himself a relic of the past.
“I was part of this sport in the past, I’m part of the present, and I’ll make sure I’m part of the future. My job is to fight on Saturday, a really tough fight.”
