Nate “The Great” Marquardt heads into Saturday’s UFC 128 fight against Dan Miller with several critics questioning his greatness, chief among them, UFC president Dana White.
Marquardt, however, says that he doesn’t pay attention to the criticisms hurled his way, although he does realize that, when he loses, there are elements of his arsenal that need fixing. Point noted. He says he’s made the necessary adjustments.
Making a statement isn’t the goal of his fight against Dan Miller in Newark, N.J., but Marquardt says that the result of the tweaks to his game will be just that… a statement.
Marquardt fielded questions from the media on Thursday afternoon, addressing the criticism hurled his way, the last minute switch of opponents due to the tsunami in Japan, and his assessment of his new opponent, Dan Miller.
