The UFC 124 weigh-ins are in the books and now the main event between UFC welterweight champion Georges St-Pierre and challenger Josh Koscheck is official, with both men coming in on weight.

The Montreal crowd gave a resounding unwelcome to Koscheck who hit the scales with an ever-present smile, and of course he had a few words for those in attendance.

“Thanks for the great welcome, I plan on putting on a hell of a show tomorrow night,” said Koscheck. “It all comes down to tomorrow night, 25 minutes, me and Georges St-Pierre get to fight. Thanks for the boos, we’ll see you tomorrow night when I put Georges St-Pierre to sleep.”

The champion got the loudest ovation from the Canadian crowd, and St-PIerre sounded as confident as ever, and ready to prove a point against Koscheck on Saturday night.

“Tomorrow I guarantee you the bully will get bullied,” St-PIerre stated. “I’m going to fight smart. He tried to put me off track, that’s what he wants, I’m not going to do it, and I’m going to kick his ass tomorrow.”

Al of the other fighters made weight including co-main event fighter Sean McCorkle who came out sporting a Justin Bieber wig and was accompanied by internet legend Reggie Warren Jr.

Thiago Alves, whose weight cutting struggles are something of legend, hit the scales exactly on point at 171lbs with coach Mike Dolce cheering by his side. Alves looked as in shape as ever and ready to face John Howard on Saturday in Montreal.
