UFC 108 Drugs Tests Clean

Nine UFC 108 competitors tested negative for steroids and drugs, according to an email distributed by the Nevada State Athletic Commission on Thursday.

Headliner Rashad Evans, along with Paul Daley, Sam Stout, Jim Miller, Junior dos Santos, Martin Kampmann, Mark Munoz, Jake Ellenberger and Rafaello Oliveira were all tested by the regulatory body in conjunction with their participation at UFC 108 on Jan. 2 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.

Evans and Silva submitted to additional testing during their training in December, said the email.

Evans earned a unanimous decision against Thiago Silva despite a third-round rally from the Brazilian.
