Twelve-bout lineup set for September's 'UFC Fight Night 28: Teixeira vs. Bader'

glover-teixeira-14.jpgSeptember’s 12-bout lineup for “UFC Fight Night 28: Teixeira vs. Bader” event is complete, and current plans call for a six-fight main card in support of the night’s Glover Teixeira (21-2 MMA, 4-0 UFC) vs. Ryan Bader (15-3 MMA, 8-3 UFC) headliner.

UFC officials recently announced the official bout order for the evening.

In addition to the main event, the night’s three-hour main card includes Yushin Okami (29-7 MMA) vs. Ronaldo Souza (18-3 MMA, 1-0 UFC), Joseph Benavidez (18-3 MMA, 5-1 UFC) vs. Jussier Formiga (15-2 MMA, 1-1 UFC), Piotr Hallmann (13-1 MMA, 0-0 UFC) vs. Francisco Trinaldo (13-2 MMA, 3-1 UFC), Rafael Natal (16-4-1 MMA, 4-2-1 UFC) vs. Tor Troeng (16-4-1 MMA, 1-0 UFC) and Ali Bagautinov (10-2 MMA, 0-0 UFC) vs. Marcos Vinicius (20-4-1 MMA, 1-1 UFC).

UFC Fight Night 28 takes place Sept. 4 at Estadio Jornalista Felipe Drumond in Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, Brazil. The six-fight main card airs on FOX Sports 1.

In addition to those plans, six more fights are scheduled for the evening’s preliminary card, which streams on Facebook. Those fights include previously announced bouts of Johnny Bedford (19-10 MMA, 2-1 UFC) vs. Hugo Viana (7-1 MMA, 2-1 UFC), Felipe Arantes (15-5-1 MMA, 2-1-1 UFC) vs. Sam Sicilia (11-3 MMA, 1-2 UFC), Kenny Robertson (12-3 MMA, 1-3 UFC) vs. Joao Zeferino (13-5 MMA, 0-1 UFC) , Ramiro Hernandez (13-4 MMA, 0-0 UFC) vs. Lucas Martins (13-1 MMA, 1-1 UFC), Marcelo Guimaraes (8-1-1 MMA, 1-1 UFC) vs. Keith Wisniewski (28-14-1 MMA, 0-3 UFC) and Sean Spencer (9-2 MMA, 0-1 UFC) vs. Yuri Villefort (6-2 MMA, 0-1 UFC).

With the announcement, the latest UFC Fight Night 28 lineup now includes:
