Tom Lawlor has suffered an injury that will force him off the UFC Fight Night 46 card and out of his bout with Ilir Latifi.

Tom Lawlor is out of his bout with Ilir Latifi at UFC Fight Night 46 according to an MMA Junkie report. An injury has forced Lawlor off of the card, set for the O2 Arena in Dublin, and left the UFC searching for a replacement to take on Latifi.

Lawlor has traded wins and losses for his last six trips to the Octagon, most recently picking up a submission victory by guillotine choke over Michael Kuiper in April of 2013.

That same card saw Latifi make his UFC debut as an extremely late notice opponent for Gegard Mousasi. The bout didn't go well as Latifi lost by unanimous decision. He was kept on the roster, however, and managed an impressive submission over Cyrille Diabate in March.

The card is headlined by a bout between the highly regarded Conor McGregor and Diego Brandao, who represents a step up in competition for the most called out man in the UFC.
