TUF 17 TV Ratings Don’t Fluctuate at Season’s Midway Point

TUF 17 Logo Team Jones vs. Team SonnenThe Ultimate Fighter: Team Jones vs. Team Sonnen is now at the halfway point of its run, and holding steady in the TV ratings.

Tuesday night’s Episode 6 drew an audience of 1.14 million viewers, according to TVbytheNumbers.com. That number is nearly identical to the previous week’s 1.13 million viewers.

The TUF 17 season is currently averaging 1.255 million viewers per episode, well above the 829,250 viewers per episode average of TUF 16, which struggled to surpass a million viewers on just two occasions.

TUF 17 has modified the production style to a more documentary feel, banks on the drawing power of UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones and his next challenger Chael Sonnen as coaches, and has a much more viewer friendly Tuesday night prime time slot in the schedule.

TUF 17 TV Ratings:

Week 1: 1.51 million viewers
Week 2: 1.30 million viewers
Week 3: 1.20 million viewers
Week 4: 1.25 million viewers
Week 5: 1.13 million viewers
Week 6: 1.14 million viewers
