Pat Healy is known in MMA circles as a "grinder."
Strikeforce champ Gilbert Melendez is aware of this, but he's not
worried that he'll be stifled for five rounds when they fight. He's
already been there with onetime UFC welterweight title challenger Jake
Shields.
"If anyone can replicate Pat, it's Jake," Melendez said today. "I lock
horns with a lot of guys, and the first thing I do is say, 'They've got
nothing on Jake.'"
