Tim Kennedy scored a huge first-round victory over Dutch striking specialist Melvin Manhoef at Saturday’s Strikeforce: Feijao vs. Henderson in Columbus, Ohio.

The victory put Kennedy back on the winning track after losing a title bid to current Strikeforce middleweight champion Ronaldo “Jacare” Souza his last time in the cage.

Kennedy spoke with the media about Saturday night’s victory, what’s important to him, his fighting future, and completing his military service in the U.S. Army’s elite forces.
