Strikeforce welterweight champion Nick Diaz, saying “I just come to fight,” went wherever the fight went on Saturday night in San Diego. Whether standing or on the mat, Diaz fought his fight against challenger Paul Daley.

Like it so often does, that meant Diaz ended up beating the Brit at his own game. Known primarily for his strength as a striker, Daley made it a good fight with Diaz, dishing out everything he had, but in the end, it was Diaz that outstruck Daley, finishing the fight by TKO at the end of the opening round.
