Strikeforce Post-Fight Video: Daniel Cormier Sheds the Prospect Label

Two-time Olympic wrestler Daniel Cormier has been steadily fighting his way up through the ranks of the other prospects of the heavyweight division.

But now, with his domination of MMA pioneer Jeff Monson, Cormier has shed the prospect label and joined the big leagues. Not that he had an easy road to begin with, the bumps aren’t going to go away, they’ll only get bigger.

After defeating Monson at Strikeforce: Overeem vs. Werdum in Dallas on Saturday night, Cormier spoke with Showtime Sports reporter Heidi Androl about the fight and where his career is headed.
