Strikeforce Post-Fight Video: Jorge Masvidal Hoping for Shot at Gilbert Melendez

Jorge Masvidal picked K.J. Noons apart at Strikeforce: Overeem vs. Werdum on Saturday night in Dallas. Now he’s hoping that he’s done enough to get a welcome Father’s Day present, a shot at Strikeforce lightweight champion Gilbert Melendez.

Masvidal has now won back-to-back fights for Strikeforce, defeating two of the promotion’s most popular 155-pounders, Billy Evangelista and K.J. Noons.

After the fight, Masvidal spoke with Showtime Sports reporter Heidi Androl about the fight and if he thinks he’s up next for Melendez.
