Gilbert Melendez and Pat Healy - StrikeforceStrikeforce lightweight champion Gilbert Melendez and challenger Pat Healy are getting ready to headline the promotion’s Sept. 29 fight card in Sacramento, Calif. They’ll be backed up by a co-main event pitting two of Strikeforce’s top rising light heavyweights, Gian Villante and Guto Inocente, against one another.

Melendez, Healy, Villante and Inocente, as well as Strikeforce CEO Scott Coker, fielded questions from the media on the Strikeforce: Melendez vs. Healy pre-fight conference call on Tuesday.
