Scott Smith vs. Tarec Saffiedine (welterweight)

Round 1:Smith the aggressor to start the fight, stepping forward while Saffiedine counters. Saffiedine cracks Smith with a good leg kick. Working from the clinch, Saffiiedine landing good knees until they separate. Saffiedine unloads a good head kick, Smith catches his leg and looks for the takedown but can’t land it. Smith fires a great leg kick that takes Saffiedine off balance. Saffiedine throws a nice spinning wheel kick that almost lands.

Round 2: Saffiedine smells blood and fires off strikes with more confidence this round. Saffiedine clips Smith and hurts him, then comes in with a flying knee. Smith still surviving. Saffiedine picking his shots and nails Smith with a huge head kick. Smith dives for a leg, desperately trying for a takedown. Saffiedine ends up on top, taking Smith’s back. Smith is able to slip out and fires off some elbows. Saffiedine comes forward again with another devastating head kick, but Smith will not go down.

Round 3: Saffiedine cracks Smith with a good leg kick to open things up. Lands another nasty one and continues to fire them off. Saffiedine now coming over the top to hit more strikes. Smith rockets off a huge right hand, but misses. Saffiedine throws a nice spinning back kick, but Smith is still moving forward. Smith looks for a head kick but Saffiedine blocks. Smith goes for a Superman punch but comes up with air. Smith still stalking forward, but can’t land the knockout blow.
