Paul Daley vs. Tyron Woodley (welterweight)

Round 1: Woodley throws a kick, Daley responds with one of his own. Woodley catches the kick and pushes the action against the cage. Daley throws a knee and catches Woodley in the groin. Woodley throwing a lot of strikes after the restart, then looks for the takedown, Daley stuffs him. The stalling causes the ref to separate them. Daley gets aggressive looks for some big punches, but almost gives up a takedown in the process. Woodley still can’t finish the takedown. Woodley tearing at Daley’s midsection with some good body shots.

Round 2: Woodley looks for a takedown immediately, Daley stuffs him. Daley lands a nice knee to the body, Woodley comes back with the body lock. Woodley grabs a single leg and finally gets the takedown. Woodley on top but not doing much of anything with the position. Woodley staying just active enough to keep the fight on the ground, but not landing any power or damaging shots. Ref stands them up, Daley goes on the attack. Stuffs a takedown attempt from Woodley and ends the round on top looking for punches.

Round 3: Daley fires in for an uppercut and looks to land a big knee, but Woodley ducks and avoids the biggest part of the strike and gets the fight back to the canvas. Woodley controlling from the top again as the boos rain down from the crowd. Daley starts to work his way back up and in the scramble lands on top of Woodley. Daley has new life looking for strikes from the top. Daley rolls for an omo plata after the clinch but Woodley escapes and lands on top as time runs out.
