The Strikeforce: Barnett vs. Cormier fight card slated for May 19 in San Jose, Calif., is coming together quickly. After several bouts were announced on Monday, Strikeforce CEO Scott Coker on Tuesday added a light heavyweight preliminary bout pitting Virgil Zwicker against Carlos Augusto “Guto” Inocente Filho.

Zwicker (10-2) is making his third start for Strikeforce with the bout. He’s 1-1 fighting for the promotion, losing to Lavar Johnson in his promotional debut before bouncing back against Brett Albee.

Guto is undefeated, running up a record of 5-0. The bout against Zwicker will be his first for Strikeforce, as well as his first outside of his home country of Brazil.

The Strikeforce Heavyweight Grand Prix final headlines the May 19 card, pitting Josh Barnett against Daniel Cormier, with Strikeforce lightweight champion Gilbert Melendez defending his belt against Josh Thomson in a rubber match.
