Speed Bag: Whoa, we all see what's about to happen here at UFC 205, right?

Fight promotion is an art that works in the medium of hyperbole, and that can make it difficult to truly appreciate just what a monumental event we get on Saturday with UFC 205.

On paper, it’s the greatest card in UFC history – complete with three title fights, a super-sized six-bout main card, and a host of ex-champs and notables on the prelims.

The card airs on pay-per-view and marks the UFC’s long-awaited New York City debut, with iconic Madison Square Garden playing host. But the real story is the fight card itself.

We’ve got lightweight champion Eddie Alvarez (28-4 MMA, 3-1 UFC) vs. featherweight champ Conor McGregor (20-3 MMA, 8-1 UFC) for the 155-pound title, Tyron Woodley (16-3 MMA, 6-2 UFC) puts his welterweight belt on the line against Stephen Thompson (13-1 MMA, 8-1 UFC), and strawweight champ Joanna Jedrzejczyk (12-0 MMA, 6-0 UFC) takes on Karolina Kowalkiewicz (10-0 MMA, 3-0 UFC) in an all-Poland title bout.

Check out the video above for more on a fight card that – at least on paper – finally lives up to the hype.
