Score Fighting Series Results: Top Prospect Jordan Mein Defeats Marius Zaromskis in Main Event

Jordan Mein

The Score Fighting Series went down in Ontario for the first time over the weekend and the show closed with one of the top prospects in the sport Jordan Mein defeating former Strikeforce title contender Marius Zaromskis in the main event.

Mein, who also recently defeated former UFC welterweight Josh Burkman, won a solid decision over Zaromskis with the scorecards reading 30-27, 29-28 and 29-28.

Mein would appear to be on the fast track to getting a shot in either the UFC or Strikeforce with his recent winning streak, and is poised to be one of the next top prospects to come out of Canada.

Also on the card, former UFC fighters Joe Doerksen and Luigi Fioravanti battled it out with Doerksen coming out on top by unanimous decision.

Former Pride and UFC fighter Rameau Thierry Sokoudjou also picked up a victory on the show with a unanimous decision win over Roy Boughton.
