Sarah KaufmanSarah Kaufman was obviously disappointed after her loss to Ronda Rousey on Saturday night in San Diego. She was disappointed that she didn’t recapture the Strikeforce bantamweight title and she was disappointed that she got caught in Rousey’s go-to move, the armbar.

Kaufman remained almost startlingly composed after the fight, however, fielding questions from the media when many fighters would have politely, or perhaps not so politely, declined.

That’s because Kaufman is an athlete with confidence in her abilities. She once wore the bantamweight belt around her waist, and Kaufman believes that with hard work and effort, she’ll wear it again one day.
