Sara McMann Injured and Out of Strikeforce Fight on Nov 3

The upcoming Strikeforce show on Nov 3 continues to take hit after hit as Olympic silver medalist Sara McMann is the latest casualty to fall victim to injury and be forced out of her upcoming fight on the card.

Sources close to the situation confirmed with MMAWeekly.com on Monday that McMann is out of her scheduled fight against Liz Carmouche.

The details regarding McMann’s injury was not disclosed, but she will be unable to compete at the upcoming Strikeforce card in November.

McMann is the latest fighter to fall off the upcoming Strikeforce card which has taken major hits over the last 48 hours. First, Strikeforce middleweight champion Luke Rockhold fell off the show due to injury, and now McMann becomes the latest fighter to withdraw from the show.

The show is also lacking a main event currently as Strikeforce Grand Prix champion Daniel Cormier has no opponent after Frank Mir dropped out due to injury, and no replacement has been secured with the show just three weeks away.
