Ryan Jimmo and Igor Pokrajac Look to Get Back on Track at UFC 161 in Winnipeg

Igor PokrajacUFC officials on Tuesday announced a light heavyweight bout between Ryan Jimmo and Igor Pokrajac. The 205-pounders will meet on June 15 when the promotion makes its Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada debut.

Jimmo (17-2) recently suffered the second defeat of his career. He lost a unanimous decision to James Te Huna at UFC on Fuel TV 7. He had won 17 consecutive bouts prior to the loss, his only prior stumble coming in his pro debut.

The Canadian will look to get back on track on his home turf. The loss to Te Huna is the only time Jimmo has fought outside of Canada.

Pokrajac (25-9) thought he had lost his second consecutive fight when he dropped a decision to Joey Beltran at UFC on FX 6 in December, but the result was changed to a no contest when Beltran tested positive for nandrolone, an anabolic steroid.

Pokrajac is officially 4-4 in the Octagon.

Interim UFC bantamweight champion Renan Barão puts his belt on the line for the second time when he faces Eddie Wineland in the UFC 161 main event.
