Ryan Benoit vs. Cody Fuller booked as new Legacy FC 24 main event

Following an injury, next month’s Legacy FC 24 event has a new headliner.

With UFC and WEC vet Damacio Page (16-8) sidelined by a partially torn LCL, Cody Fuller (10-6) has stepped in and now fights Ryan Benoit (6-2) in the event’s bantamweight headliner.

AXS TV Fights first reported the switch.

Legacy FC 24 takes place Oct. 11 event at Allen Event Center in Allen, Texas. The main card airs on AXS TV.

Fuller, a five-year pro, makes his promotional debut at the event. The Oklahoman was on a three-fight winning streak, which included three stoppages, before a title loss to Micah Stockton in the fifth round of their XFL title fight. Fuller owns nine stoppages in 10 career wins.

He now takes on Benoit, a Texan who’s posted three first-round stoppages in three career Legacy FC fights. However, his recent four-fight winning streak came to a halt in May with a decision loss to Anthony Birchak (10-1) at MFC 37.
