With Ronda Rousey’s win over Cat Zingano in the main event of UFC 184, she has once again shown an amazing ability to dominate the best that her division has to offer.

It took Rousey (11-0 MMA, 5-0 UFC) only 14 seconds to catch Zingano’s (9-1 MMA, 2-1 UFC) arm and torque it hard enough to force a tap.

It was Rousey’s fifth title fight in the UFC and the quickest submission in UFC championship history. Quick finishes are nothing new to Rousey, who has let just one fighter out of the first round in her 11-fight career.

Rousey’s past three fights have barely broken 90 seconds – combined.

In the UFC’s “modern era,” the three most iconic champions have been Anderson SilvaGeorges St-Pierre and Jon Jones.

A quick glance at the performances of those three in their first five UFC title fights shows Rousey has blown past the field in terms of sheer dominance.
