Like most fighters, Antonio Rogerio Nogueira has ambitions of one day becoming a UFC champion.
With a win over Tito Ortiz to his credit in his last fight following up back-to-back losses, Nogueira realizes that he has some work to do. A win over Rashad Evans at UFC 156 on Saturday night isn’t going to automatically put him in position to fight Jon Jones.
A victory over Evans, especially an impressive one, would definitely be a huge leap down the road to the title, and Nogueira fully intends to take that leap.
