The UFC’s first Australian event of 2015 is targeted for May 10, and Mark Hunt (10-9-1 MMA, 5-3-1 UFC) and Stipe Miocic (12-2 MMA, 6-2 UFC) will reportedly headline the card in a heavyweight matchup.

Combat Press first reported the contest, originally indicating a May 16 date but later revising the report to reflect a May 10 booking.

The new event is expected to serve as UFC Fight Night 65 and take place at Adelaide Entertainment Centre in Adelaide, South Australia, Australia. Due to the time difference, the card would air in the U.S. on Saturday, May 9, and is expected to stream on UFC Fight Pass.

UFC officials declined to comment on the report when contacted by MMAjunkie.

The UFC’s first trip to the Philippines, a May 15 event, will now be known as UFC Fight Night 66.

Hunt is currently ranked No. 5 in the latest USA TODAY Sports/MMAjunkie MMA heavyweight rankings, while Miocic checks in at No. 9.

Hunt looks to rebound from a November loss to Fabricio Werdum in a failed bid to claim the UFC’s interim heavyweight title. Hunt earned the right to compete for the belt with a September knockout of fellow heavy-hitter Roy Nelson. At 40 years old, Hunt remains one of the most popular fighters in the UFC’s heavyweight division, boasting the ability to stop anyone in the weight class with a single shot.

Meanwhile, Miocic also looks to rebound from a loss after falling short via decision in a “Fight of the Night” loss to Junior Dos Santos this past December. The loss snapped a three-fight winning streak for the 32-year-old striker from Ohio.
