Reminder: 'UFC 165: Jones vs. Gustafsson' tickets on sale today


tom-wright-4.jpgAs a reminder, tickets for the UFC’s September return to Toronto go on sale today.

“UFC 165: Jones vs. Gustafsson” takes place Sept. 21 at Air Canada Centre and features a pair of title fights. In the main event, light heavyweight champion Jon Jones (18-1 MMA, 12-1 UFC) meets Alexander Gustafsson (14-1 MMA, 6-1 UFC), and in a recently announced co-main event, interim bantamweight champ Renan Barao (30-1 MMA, 5-0 UFC) defends against Eddie Wineland (20-8-1 MMA, 2-2 UFC).

The evening’s main card airs on pay-per-view following prelims that air on FOX Sports 1 and stream on Facebook.

Tickets for UFC 165 go on sale to the general public Thursday, July 11, at 10 a.m. ET with prices ranging from $75 to $450, plus fees. But UFC Fight Club members can purchase tickets today at 10 a.m. ET, and subscribers to the UFC’s e-newsletter can get tickets in advance on Wednesday at 10 a.m. ET.

UFC champ Jones and Gustafsson today join UFC Director of Canadian Operations Tom Wright at Toronto’s Real Sports Bar & Grill for a press conference scheduled to promote the fight card. The presser starts at 12 p.m. ET and is free and open to the public.
