Tickets for the UFC’s first event in Tulsa go on sale today, and $172 will get you cageside.
UFC Fight Night 49 is set for Aug. 23 at BOK Center in Tulsa, Okla. The bulk of the card is expected to air on FOX Sports 1 following a few prelims on UFC Fight Pass.
In the five-round main event, a pair of winners from UFC Fight Night 42 meet in a lightweight contenders bout. Former champion Benson Henderson (21-3 MMA, 9-1 UFC) will meet Rafael dos Anjos (21-7 MMA, 10-5 UFC) in the event’s headliner. Henderosn currently is ranked No. 2 and dos Anjos is No. 10 in the latest USA TODAY Sports/MMAjunkie MMA lightweight rankings. Henderson also is No. 15 on the pound-for-pound list.
Tickets for UFC Fight Night 49 go on sale today at 11 a.m. ET (10 a.m. CT local time) to UFC Fight Club members with prices ranging from $50 to $150, plus fees. Tickets are available via Ticketmaster and at the venue box office. The $150 tickets ($172.70 with fees) will put you cageside in Tulsa.
UFC e-newsletter subscribers can get their tickets today, as well, at 1 p.m. ET (noon CT). The general public can purchase tickets Friday at 11 a.m. ET (10 a.m. CT).
The event recently has been the recipient of some new additions courtesy of the cancellation of UFC 176.
