As a reminder, the UFC’s latest edition of “Embedded,” previewing next week’s epic UFC 194 card, debuts today on FOX.
“UFC 194 Embedded” debuts Saturday on FOX beginning at 3 p.m. ET (noon PT). Like UFC 193 in November, “Embedded” gets a major TV slot instead of its usual online home, and in lieu of a typical “UFC Countdown” show.
UFC 194 takes place Dec. 12 at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. In the pay-per-view headliner, longtime featherweight champion Jose Aldo (25-1 MMA, 7-0 UFC), who’s ranked No. 1 in the NOS Energy Drink MMA women’s featherweight rankings and No. 2 on the pound-for-pound list, takes on No. 2 Conor McGregor (18-2 MMA, 6-0 UFC), the interim titleholder. The fight was delayed from July, when the two originally were set to meet in Las Vegas before an Aldo injury took him out the week before the fight.
In addition, the night’s co-headliner shares the spotlight. Middleweight champion Chris Weidman (13-0 MMA, 9-0 UFC) takes on former Strikeforce champ Luke Rockhold (14-2 MMA, 4-1 UFC) in the co-main event.
Check out a preview of the series above, which looks back at many of the past altercations between heated rivals Aldo and McGregor. Then don’t miss the premier of the episode today on FOX.
The full UFC 194 lineup includes:
MAIN CARD (Pay-per-view, 10 p.m. ET)
PRELIMINARY CARD (FOX Sports 1, 8 p.m. ET)
