The middleweight bout between Rashad Evans and Tim Kennedy that was pulled from UFC 205 in the midst of fight week has been added to December’s UFC 206 lineup.

UFC 206 takes place Dec. 10 at Air Canada Centre in Toronto. Evans (19-5-1 MMA, 14-5-1 UFC) vs. Kennedy (18-5 MMA, 3-1 UFC) is likely to join the pay-per-view main card following early prelims on FS1 and UFC Fight Pass.

The former UFC light heavyweight champion was set to make his middleweight debut after a record-tying 19 appearances at 205 pounds. He won’t have to wait much longer for it to happen, though.
Kennedy, meanwhile, was set to return from a 777-day layoff at UFC 205. He hasn’t competed since a third-round TKO loss to Yoel Romero at UFC 178 in September 2014, and even angled to remain on the card in New York, calling for fights with Nick Diaz, Anderson Silva or Michael Bisping.
